When the universe flips a coin, will it ever stop spinning?

Elder Fukuro

Description: The elder of Riki Village is a stoic and stern man. After Pariku's parents died, he took care of the boy until he reached the age of 13. He instilled in Pariku common sense and self-control, but his lack of fatherly support (which Pariku desperately needed) resulted in Pariku's sometimes cynical, pessimistic attitude. The Elder is a pessimist as well, always preparing for the worst. If his village is in danger, he will attempt to eliminate the problem as quickly as possible -- and with extreme prejudice.

When posed with the problem of the escape of Onikumo, the legendary demon spider who had been trapped in the guardian mountain, KopuKopu, for centuries, Elder Fukuro immediately turned to the one inconsistency that had appeared in his village: The girl, Natane. Amidst the accusations of Tsunu in the guise of a wandering prophet, he sentenced her and Pariku to be sacrificed to the spider. Unfortunately for him, the spider decided it would rather feast on his village than two small sacrifices, and he was mortally injured, later dying in his surrogate son's arms.
